2024 ASTF Asado Milonga: Sunday Night – Traditional, Inside Floor
Chantal, with background training in classical dance and music, has been active in the tango community for 14 years, as an organizer, teacher, and DJ. She is presently an organizer and primary DJ for the Las Pebetas Milonga outside Miami and has also served as DJ at festivals and milongas in Turkey, SE Asia, and South Africa, as well as events in the USA. While focusing on Golden Age classics, her repertoire includes contemporary orchestras and modern tangos as well. She can rapidly assess the flow and direction of the milonga on a particular evening, and her motto is “play for the crowd, not for yourself.”
