Sofia grew up in tango and started dancing at the age of 2 and a half. She has always aspired to absorb not only the intricacies of the dance, but the beauty of the music. As a tango DJ, Sofia loves to incorporate contrast, while still embracing a delicate flow of energy, encouraging a warm embrace with playful movements, and endless possibilities! Her approach to DJing focuses on adapting to the crowd, in that unique shared moment. She has recently DJ’d at the Gavito Tango Festival, Phoenix Tango Marathon, The Albuquerque Tango Festival, and the LA Tango Marathon.
