A Heartfelt Thank You

The Austin Spring Tango Festival has been growing and improving for nearly 20 years now!  This year we moved our festival to Central Austin with 3 venues, and we want to thank everyone for joining.

All of the smiles that we saw on your faces are the reward for the Austin Tango Society as we are a non-profit organization staffed and supported by many volunteers who have a desire to contribute to their community.  Any net proceeds from the festival are reinvested in programs that support our local tango community. So thank you for choosing to share your warm embraces at this year’s Austin Spring Tango Festival! 

This festival would not be what it is without all of you showing up with your love and appreciation for each other as members of our broader tango community.  One embrace at a time, with familiar faces and with dancers we’ve never met before, all sharing a love for tango, added up to an extraordinary experience … just what one hopes for in a great festival. 

We want to thank our brilliant maestros, our superb DJs, our amazing volunteers, and our sister non-profit, Esquina Tango, whose warm and inviting space was at the heart of our Sunday event.

We are still basking in the afterglow of wonderful dances, outstanding workshops, smiles all around us, and the shared energy of dancing with everyone on the pista. We can’t wait to start planning the Austin Spring Tango Festival 2025 so be sure to mark your calendars for March 21-23, 2025.   We hope to see you there!
